The "Board of Missions" or Missions Committee gets its mission from "The Great Commission": 
Mat 28:19 ...go and make disciples of all nations....

We do this with activities in two general areas: "inreach" and "outreach", also known as assimilation and evangelism.

Assimilation: to take in and nourish. (Webster)

Evangelism: to preach the Gospel; to convert to Christianity. (Webster)

Some activities to those ends at Good Shepherd include, this web site, newspaper advertising, and going door to door inviting people to come worship with us. If you're interested in these types of activities please email us with your questions, comments, or suggestions.

Every church member should consider themselves on the Missions Committee because Jesus "Great Commission" was to all of us, but some of those who have taken an active interest in this committee include:
